Ireland Wales Annual Event 2011
Projects funded under the Ireland Wales Programme 2007-13 gathered at the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin for a major networking event on Thursday, 6th October 2011.
The event was an opportunity to meet and share experiences and achievements. All projects showcased their activity during the day with leaflets and banners.
Dr. Senan Cooke of Dunhill Rural Enterprises Ltd in Co. Waterford kicked off the event with a discussion on community leadership. Dunhill is partnered on two Ireland Wales projects, HERCULES and ACTION. Senan was followed by Martin Owen of CAST Ltd. in Bangor, North Wales who is part of the Inventorium project team. Wessel Badenhorst of Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, Co. Dublin outlined the achievements of the BRAND project. Kingsley Aikins, networking guru and fundraiser, rounded off the morning session with his keynote address.
