Rising Tide

Aims & Objectives
The Rising Tide project aims to support social inclusion through joint activities, events and training and develop and promote joint opportunities for sustainable community regeneration, drawing on and giving recognition to the maritime identity, maritime heritage and coastal environment of the cross border region.
Project Objectives:
- Develop and deliver VOCATIONAL TRAINING PROGRAMMES, which will provide progression routes for marginalised members of the community and develop participants;
- COMMUNITY REGENERATION PROGRAMMES to develop local events, activities and projects with local stakeholders in the development of maritime tourism and promotion of local enterprise;
- CROSS BORDER EXCHANGES between training programme participants, community stakeholders and coastal communities to facilitate interpretation and development that will support community regeneration.
